The future 's looking bleak for the young
And time 's running out on having fun
And we 've got no place to go
Corruption is exploiting our generation
And in the end it leaves us slowly dying
That 's why we stick by our friends
Does this explain the anger in our faces
The chaos witnessed in so many places
Our generation knows who they hate
So give us a future , not a police state
Betrayed and beaten by the leaders of the nation
Given a police force and told it 's for protection
But who 'll protect us from them
