Si dice che la storia la fanno i vincitori ed in effetti pare che i vincitori tendano a considerare la storia una loro personale proprietà privata. Ma per loro sfortuna il Tempo è un gentiluomo e certi dettagli della loro storia nel corso degli anni si mostrano "piuttosto differenti" dalle loro cosidette verità. Il 10 Maggio del 1941, Rudolph Hess volò in Inghilterra con una proposta di pace tra Germania e Inghilterra. La storia del volo di Hess è quella di un tentativo di porre fine ad una sanguinosa guerra tra fratelli. Questo nobile tentativo costò a Rudolph Hess la prigionia a vita, ma la verità sulla missione di pace, lentamente sta emergendo, così come la qualità dell'uomo.
